Two-year bonus for 85,000 beneficiaries for Organic until November

The Minister of Rural Development, Spilios Livanos, spoke about 85,000 beneficiaries in the Organic Agriculture program that will be announced within the next two months, as the funds of 420 million euros are not enough. Euro that will be allocated concern commitments for only two years (instead of 3 years-5 years) so the Measure will fit many farms.

The applications to the Measure will concern only those who have already certified their crops or farms as organic until 31/12/2020, which may change and those who were certified in early 2021 can also apply. It is noted here that the applications will be based on this year’s IACS applications. Regarding more specifically the content of the pre-publication of Measure 11, the ministry of rural development and food says that it will issue four invitations depending on the product group. Each call will have its own budget, with the largest amount going to horticulture (60 euros per acre). Analytically:
