What the farmer needs today to do a borehole

In recent years, the Greek state has been trying to put an order in the regime of disorder and lack of organization regarding drilling, by establishing the National Register of Water Abstraction Points.

Therefore, any drilling new or existing should be declared to be considered legal.

Essentially, the way of obtaining a permit for a borehole with all the bureaucratic procedure has completely changed and only the submission of some supporting documents is required.

For the drilling permit, therefore, some supporting documents must be submitted to the Water Directorate of each Region along with the drilling permit application. The relevant drilling documents will be submitted certified in an envelope.
